At The Anchor, we work hard to create memorable experiences, and part of that means managing our bookings with care and respect. To ensure smooth service and fair availability for all guests, the following terms apply.
Cancellation Fee

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled or amended without sufficient notice.

Please notify us of any cancellations or changes to guest numbers at least 48 hours prior to your booking time.

A £15 per person cancellation fee may apply for changes or cancellations made within this 48-hour window. This fee helps cover the cost of staffing, food preparation, and the potential loss of other bookings.

No-shows (bookings that do not attend without notice) will also incur a £15 per person fee.
Reservation Policy

Credit or debit card details are required to secure your reservation.

No payment is taken at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Time Allocation
To ensure the best experience for all our guests, bookings are allocated time slots based on the number of covers:

1–2 guests: 100 minutes

3–4 guests: 120 minutes

5–7 guests: 130 minutes

8+ guests: 150 minutes
Pet Policy
Dogs are welcome in bar and cafe areas but are not permitted in the main restaurant.
Special Offers

Local loyalty cards (e.g., NG14) are valid Monday to Thursday, 12pm – 9pm.

Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, set menus, or special events.
General
The Anchor reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
